Inna Cherkasova

Inna is a dedicated intellectual property professional who supports SMEs and enterprenours in protecting and building value from their brands and designs across Italy and the European Union.

As a European Trademark and Design Attorney and an Italian Trademark and Design Attorney, she is authorized to represent clients before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Inna holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Ural University M. Gorky in Yekaterinburg, Russia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. This background gives her a strong understanding of both global markets and the practical needs of small and medium‑sized businesses.

Her professional journey began in 2009 with experience in Business Intelligence and Marketing in multinational corporations and Italian SMEs in Northern Italy. Since 2017, Inna has focused on intellectual property, starting as a paralegal in a medium-sized IP firm and then joining Palmas IP as a trainee, qualifying as an Italian and European Trademark and Design Attorney after passing the state examination.

Fluent in Russian, Italian, and English, Inna helps SMEs, especially those with international aspirations, to secure trademarks and designs in a clear, practical, and cost‑effective way.
